Project Overview
The NewGen Kwinana Power Station, located approximately 30km south of Perth, is Western Australia’s most modern and efficient base load power station. One of its main functions is to provide electricity into the South-West Interconnected System.

The combined cycle gas-fired base load power station was designed to provide low-cost, environmentally friendly electricity to WA, utilising gas from the North-West shelf delivered through Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline The NewGen Kwinana power station is valued in excess of $400 million, bringing an estimated $100 million in economic benefit to WA during construction and over $1 billion during the life of the project.
TBH’s Role
TBH was engaged assist the subcontractors’ extension of time (EOT) claims relating to the installation of the HRSG units.
