{"id":1370,"date":"2019-08-05T12:43:54","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T08:43:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/ae\/experience\/act-tams-pmo-design-2\/"},"modified":"2023-06-05T07:14:20","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T03:14:20","slug":"act-tams-pmo-design","status":"publish","type":"cpt-project","link":"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/mena\/experience\/act-tams-pmo-design\/","title":{"rendered":"ACT TAMS PMO Design"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Project Overview\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) Directorate has responsibility for the planning and delivery of critical<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">capital work and roads infrastructure in the ACT, in accordance with relevant strategic plans and capital frameworks.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">It manages a large portfolio of varying projects throughout their lifecycle, with a total value over $200 million p.a.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">TAMS had undergone organisational changes, involving the amalgamation of numerous project delivery units<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">into programs. The transformation included the establishment of a PMO and a delivery support office to support<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">planning, delivery and governance. Management sought a stronger understanding of the potential benefits and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">constraints of the changed environment, and confirmation that the design was optimal to support future operations.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>TBH\u2019s Role\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">TBH conducted analysis of the organisational drivers for the change from various stakeholder perspectives and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the potential benefits to be realised through an improved design. The analysis was realised through interviews,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">workshops with key stakeholders, alignment with good practice models, and desktop reviews of key documentation<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">and relevant systems.
