The Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant (ASDP) is a landmark infrastructure project in Western Australia, designed to strengthen Perth\u2019s water security in response to declining rainfall and a growing population. Located within the Alkimos Water Precinct, north of Perth, the plant is strategically positioned adjacent to the existing Alkimos Wastewater Treatment Plant. Construction began in late 2023, with first water production expected by 2028. ASDP represents a significant investment in Western Australia\u2019s future, addressing the dual challenges of climate change and urban growth through sustainable, long-term water infrastructure.<\/p>\n
TBH was engaged by Acciona in 2022 to support the development of tender documentation for a resource driven Master Programme. This involved close collaboration with the entire project team to deliver an accurate and experience-based forecast for project completion, leveraging proven productivity rates.<\/p>\n
Following the successful bid, TBH continued its involvement as part of the newly formed Alliance between Acciona and Water Corporation. Our ongoing role includes:

\n\u2022 Performance monitoring: Conducting weekly and monthly reviews, supported by tailored Power BI dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.
\n\u2022 Strategic insights: Developing mitigation and recovery strategies, drawing on TBH\u2019s extensive experience across multiple desalination projects.<\/p>\n
