Project Overview
BT Global Services was engaged by PT.XL, the Indonesian telecommunications company, to undertake the Axiata Transition and Transformation program. This entailed the construction of a cloud-based system (OPIaaS) and the transfer of various applications onto the Cloud. The project was carried out from the BT offices in Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia.
TBH’s Role
TBH was engaged by BT Global Services to assist with the planning and scheduling for the project.
TBH reviewed and revised the original Integrated Master Schedule and then further developed the detailed schedules for the various Tranches, Dependency Management and the development of a program schedule management plan.
This information was obtained by managing workshops and liaising with the system Lead Engineers to determine their role for each application and the sequence of their involvement from High Level Design through to ‘Go Live’.
The TBH Difference
TBH was able to detail out the High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) for each application and get the Lead Designer for each workstream (security, network, server, backup, client) to commit to the application transfer target dates.
