Project Overview

The North West Rail Link (NWRL) is a priority rail infrastructure project for the NSW Government. Planning is well underway on the 23km rail link to Sydney’s growing North West region.
Eight new railway stations are proposed at: Cherrybrook, Castle Hill, Showground, Norwest, Bella Vista, Kellyville, Rouse Hill and Cudgegong Road.
Also planned are 4,000 commuter car parking spaces. The rail link includes 15km of tunnels between Bella Vista and Epping.

 

TBH’s Role

TBH was engaged to provide consulting services on the NWRL project to assist in defining the project objectives and development of management plans, recommendations for improving the processes, accountabilities and performance expectations. TBH has recommended a continuous improvement process, which will help the NWRL project team to reach an optimal level of maturity.

TBH also developed and implemented a customised integrated management system aligned with the Department of Transport for New South Wales Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2008.

This has been customised to meet the specific requirements of the NWRL project to ensure customer and business requirements are met, processes and procedures add real value, monitoring and reporting on performance and the effectiveness of project outcomes occurs, compliance and audit requirements are met, and continuous improvements are made based on objective measurements.
