It joins the QVB and Town Hall with Moore Park, UNSW and the Prince of Wales Hospital. TfNSW engaged a managing contractor for enabling works including relocation of services, and has appointed a PPP consortium to design, construct, operate and maintain this light rail for 15 years. An independent certifier will support Transport for NSW and the PPP in securing a high-quality outcome for all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TBH\u2019s Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TBH has formed part of TfNSW\u2019s Project Delivery Team from May 2013 until May 2014 guiding the project team through the approvals and project procurement phases of the project. TBH\u2019s role included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining and updating the master program. A key aspect of the role is identifying the path going forward, anticipating upcoming issues, identifying and monitoring risks and making all parties aware of upcoming issues, facilitating solutions and their mitigation<\/li>\n<li>Interviewing key stakeholders within the project team each week and conducting regular meetings which provided a central status update for the integrated project team<\/li>\n<li>Monitor activities which represent risk to the critical path and the achievement of significant contractual milestones and handovers between working groups<\/li>\n<li>Providing the updated master program and report to the team each week as well as reporting to Deputy Project Director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sydney Light Rail has obtained approval for its business case from TfNSW, Treasury and Cabinet. It passed assurance gateways and called EOI\u2019s for both of the main packages. This project has a large media profile and TfNSW is keen to meet an ambitious timeframe. TBH co-ordinated with other arms of TfNSW and Roads and Maritime Services regarding their projects planned to occur during this period.
