{"id":1317,"date":"2019-08-07T19:16:28","date_gmt":"2019-08-07T08:16:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/sg\/experience\/cross-river-rail-2\/"},"modified":"2020-11-22T17:11:51","modified_gmt":"2020-11-22T06:11:51","slug":"cross-river-rail","status":"publish","type":"cpt-project","link":"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/sg\/experience\/cross-river-rail\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross River Rail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cross River Rail was a proposed new north-south rail line in Brisbane\u2019s inner city, including a new tunnel under the Brisbane River and four new underground inner-city rail stations.<\/p>\n<p>The Cross River Rail project was designed to provide the essential capacity at the core of the rail network that could double the number of train services from the suburbs to the QLD city centre in Brisbane.<\/p>\n<p>In 2007-08, the Queensland Government undertook the Inner City Rail Capacity Study, a prefeasibility study to identify possible solutions to capacity issues in Brisbane\u2019s inner city rail network.<\/p>\n<p>The study found that an additional north-south river crossing for rail would be needed by 2016 to cope with the increasing demand for transport services in South East Queensland.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>TBH\u2019s Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TBH was commissioned to provide programming and co-ordination support for the varying disciplines and stakeholders during the detailed Feasibility study for the Cross River Rail Project.<\/p>\n<p>TBH actively provided Programming services for Procurement, the Environmental Impact Statement, Investment &amp; Finance reporting and also in the Project Definition Report.<\/p>\n<p>To find out more about TBH\u2019s Project Management experience, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/services\/project-management-advisory\/\">Project Management<\/a> page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Overview Cross River Rail was a proposed new north-south rail line in Brisbane\u2019s inner city, including a new tunnel under the Brisbane River and four new underground inner-city rail stations.
