{"id":1344,"date":"2019-08-05T17:05:24","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T06:05:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/sg\/experience\/energy2u-alliance-3\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T11:04:06","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T00:04:06","slug":"energy2u-alliance","status":"publish","type":"cpt-project","link":"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/sg\/experience\/energy2u-alliance\/","title":{"rendered":"Energy2U Alliance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Leighton Contractors, AECOM, PowerServe and EnergyAustralia formed the Energy2U Alliance, which was to provide<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">EnergyAustralia with additional capacity to deliver its $8 billion network upgrade and renewal program by 2014.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Energy2U Alliance was established in March 2009 with a formal Alliance Agreement signed in May 2009. The<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">alliance was engaged to provide turn-key engineering services including design, construction and procurement for<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">civil works, buildings, mechanical and electrical works for multiple high-voltage substations and associated power<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">distribution infrastructure.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Some of the completed substations include:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Royal North Shore Hospital Zone Substation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Balgowlah North Zone Substation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Belmore Park CBD Substation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> North Sydney Zone Substation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>TBH\u2019s Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">TBH was engaged to provide project planning and programming services which included the following:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Large scale project planning of over 30 substations across NSW<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Turnkey planning of individual substations including the design phase, approvals, estimate preparation, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">procurement, construction and equipping planning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Establishing a template programme and project controls throughout the alliance program<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Planning, scheduling and fortnightly status updates<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Resource planning and reporting<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Delay analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To find out more about TBH\u2019s Planning &amp; Scheduling experience, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/tbhconsultancy.com\/services\/programming-scheduling-advisory\/\">Planning &amp; Scheduling<\/a> page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Overview Leighton Contractors, AECOM, PowerServe and EnergyAustralia formed the Energy2U Alliance, which was to provide\u00a0EnergyAustralia with additional capacity to deliver its $8 billion network upgrade and renewal program by 2014.\u00a0 The Energy2U Alliance was established in March 2009 with a formal Alliance Agreement signed in May 2009.
