Project Overview<\/h3>\n

The Nepean Hospital Stage 2 redevelopment included a new, 7-storey clinical services tower as part of the overall $576 million precinct upgrade. This new tower includes a new intensive care unit, medical imaging and molecular imaging services, a renal dialysis unit, a new pediatric unit, and a new main entrance. The project also features state-of-the-art education and training facilities.<\/p>\n

A multi stage decanting and enabling works process was required to enable the Stage 2 redevelopment site to become available for construction.<\/p>\n

Project completion is currently anticipated in late 2026 and an opening in early 2027.<\/p>\n

This phase of the project is the second stage of the overall Nepean campus expansion that TBH has been involved on since 2016.<\/p>\n

TBH\u2019s Role<\/h3>\n

Following on from our role on Stage 1 of this redevelopment, TBH was re-engaged to continue to provide programming support services for Health Infrastructure and the project management team.<\/p>\n

As part of this role TBH has developed an overall project Master Programme that aligns and tracks the multiple different enabling projects on the campus, including co-ordination, planning and tracking of multiple different Contractors. Maintaining the functional operations of the health district, following the opening of the Stage 1 redevelopment while delivering multiple separate construction Contracts was a key challenge of the initial role.<\/p>\n

TBH has also been involved in the review and assessment of Contractor programmes, provision of general and commercial programming advice and overall monitoring & reporting of the multiple different projects progress.
