Adelaide Airport – Project Flight

Project Overview

Adelaide Airport is commencing work on a 5-year plan to upgrade the terminal facilities and expand South Australia’s main gateway.

The works will focus on major infrastructure projects including:

• Expansion of the security screening area to meet European Civil Aviation Conference Standard 3 compliance and improve traveller experience.
• Expansion of the check-in hall with upgraded technology for future growth.
• Larger kerbside pick-up and departure zones for improve traffic flow.
• Expansion of the terminal footprint to both the south and the north to create additional gates and aircraft parking.
• A new consolidated office for Adelaide Airport Limited management team.

TBH’s Role

TBH has been engaged to develop a Mater Program for the Airport’s 5-year plan including constructability and staging advice to minimise disruption to Airport operations during construction whist prioritising key projects within the plan.
