New Lord Street Project

Australia

Project Overview

The New Lord Street Project, located within the north-eastern suburbs of the Perth CBD, Western Australia, involved the construction of a dual carriageway road between two arterial roads. The project also involved the construction of new roundabouts and intersections, principal shared paths (PSPs) and a new bus station. Upon completion of the project, New Lord Street was renamed and is known today as Drumpellier Drive. CPB Contractors was awarded and appointed as the main contractor for the New Lord Street Project scope of works by Main Roads Western Australia.

TBH’s Role

TBH was engaged by CPB Contractors to provide an expert opinion in relation to the delays and disruption being claimed by CPB Contractors. The role and specific duties performed by TBH are as follows:

  • Review and analyse the approved baseline programme, and subsequent updates thereof, developed by CPB Contractors to better understand the actual progress of the works;
  • Preparation of an expert report in relation to the delays and disruption being claimed.

The TBH Difference

TBH was able to develop a series of progress s-curves that illustrated a comparative analysis of the actual progress against the planned progress of the works. The series of progress s-curves were anlysed further and broken down into periods that formulated TBH’s expert opinion in relation to the delays and disruption being claimed by CPB Contractors.
