Project Overview

The Leichhardt Green Project in Sydney comprises of 287 apartments across five buildings ranging from four to nine floors and a basement carpark across the site. The project has a significant remediation component due to contamination from an adjacent site. The overall project is divided into two stages, an early works and a main works component. The early works consists of the treatment and bulk excavation of a combination of clean and contaminated soil and the main works involves remediation of the underground soil with the associated building works.

 

TBH’s Role

TBH provided the following:

  • Review the existing Project management and planning advice to Greenland Group to assist in the tender phase of the project and was involved up until the award of both the early and main works
  • Strategic advice and risk management in relation to the contract packaging strategy and interfaces between contracts and Greenland
  • Preparation of tender documents and managing contractor’s queries during tender phases for both the early and main works
  • Assistance to Greenland Group in the assessment and negotiation phase of the project to guide Greenland Group in awarding the contract to the most appropriate contractor to complete both the early and main works
