Project Overview​

Sydney Metro West is a major public transport initiative delivering a new metro line between Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD. The project aims to significantly reduce travel times, ease congestion, and improve connectivity across Western Sydney. It includes twin tunnels, new stations, and integrated transport infrastructure designed to support population and economic growth in the corridor.

TBH’s Scope and Role​

TBH supported the program through independent assurance and risk advisory services by:​

• Reviewing the project’s time and cost contingency allowances to confirm their adequacy against the identified risk profile.​
• Conducting an independent quantitative analysis to test the robustness of existing contingency provisions and delivery achievability.​
• Providing objective findings and recommendations to improve alignment between the project’s risk exposure and contingency framework.​
