TBH Country Manager – Malaysia, Michael TAN was interviewed by BERNAMA, sharing his insight on the growth of data centres and advanced manufacturing in Malaysia, driven by increased foreign direct investment (FDI) and the development of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
During the interview, Michael highlighted key challenges facing data centre projects, including power and water constraints, increasingly complex project execution and the need for early, integrated planning. He also underscored the importance of lifecycle-based planning, sustainability and strong project management practices to manage risk and enable timely, cost-effective delivery.
