Project Overview
Scottish Waters 2015-21 investment programme delivered large-scale improvements to Scotland’s water and waste infrastructure. The project spanned over 2,448 large- and small-scale maintenance and improvement works across the country.
As a newly formed statutory body, Scottish Water was seeking a delivery partner to roll out their $8Bn Infrastructure Program over 5 years.
TBH’s Role
TBH was involved in two distinct components of the Scottish Water Infrastructure Program:
To work with Scottish Water to set up the program contractual framework and financial model and assist with the management of the delivery partner procurement process.
Following procurement of the delivery partner, individual project contract mechanisms and procurement strategies were monitored to ensure they were consistent with the program financial model targets.
The Outcome
The approach ensured optimum processes and structures were in place to meet the regulator’s targets for the delivery of the program.
