Since our inception in 1965, TBH Consulting has steadily expanded its reach beyond Australia, establishing a strong international presence. Our commitment to delivering exceptional project management solutions has enabled us to partner with diverse sectors worldwide. Today, we proudly serve clients across multiple continents, ensuring that our expertise is accessible to those facing complex challenges.
1965
Gerry Brunstrom, Richard Tracey and Robert Dudley (TBD) open an office in Perth to service a large US Navy contract for the new Harold Holt Communications Station.
1966
As the Sydney Opera House takes shape, Peter Jobs moves from Seattle USA to establish a TBD office in Pitt Street Sydney.
1969
Roy Hammond joins the company. Early projects include hospitals, high rise constructions and upgrades of the Sydney and Melbourne airports.
1970
Peter Jobs returns to the US, and he and Gerry Brunstrom form the Olympic Engineering Corporation.
1976
The Australian offices evolves separately into Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond (TBH), becoming a fully Australian owned company in 1976 with Roy Hammond as Managing Director.
1980
TBH expands into Brisbane opening new offices on Coronation Drive and securing several construction management projects. Image by Wilfred Brimblecombe
1990
Our ACT office opens to deliver specialist services to government departments and organizations.
1999
TBH cements its presence in Melbourne establishing a new office in 1999.
2005
The resources boom creates massive demand for services in the west. TBH responds with a new office opening in Perth.
2008
In August 2008, the TBH joint venture is established to offer independent, infrastructure-focused financial modelling, feasibility analysis and financial advisory consulting services. TBH International and Confluence Joint Venture established. Singapore office established under TBH International and Confluence Joint Venture.
2010
Middle East office established under TBH International and Confluence Joint Venture.
2012
Well respected claims expert and Managing Director Phil Lee steps into the role of Chairman of the Board. Rob Hammond takes over as the new Managing Director leading an experienced and dynamic management team and board.
2013
Confluence joins Faithful+Gould to become part of the Atkins Group.
2015
TBH celebrates 50 years' of undisputed project excellence, which has shaped us as leaders in the industry today.
2016
TBH cements its presence in Hong Kong establishing a new office in 2016.
2020
Having worked in the region since 2008 - as part of a joint venture - in 2020, TBH cements its presence in Dubai, establishing a standalone office.
2020
TBH appoints first CEO – Gy Wallace TBH announced its board have appointed Gy Wallace in the newly created position of Group CEO. Gy will be responsible for the execution of the Group’s strategic plan, including guiding the business to take its suite of project advisory services abroad in the establishment of a larger International business.
2021
TBH announces the appointment of new Managing Director, Jonathan Jacobs.
