We are proud to announce that two senior leaders from our TBH Defence team, Amy Taumoefolau and Judith Irvine, have been appointed to prominent national boards shaping the future of Australia’s Defence industry.
Amy Taumoefolau, Principal, has been appointed to the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) Board. AIDN plays a critical role in strengthening Australia’s defence industrial capability, fostering collaboration across industry, and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as part of the national defence ecosystem.
Amy brings more than 14 years of experience across the Defence environment, spanning uniformed service, consulting, contracting and Commonwealth roles. Her background includes senior positions as a Director within Joint Systems Division, and delivery roles within Naval Shipbuilding, the Sustainment Group, and the Australian Submarine Agency. She has led multidisciplinary teams across complex program environments and brings strong capability in stakeholder engagement, service delivery and Defence program management. Her deep understanding of capability requirements combined with a passion shaped through her own military family background positions her strongly to contribute to AIDN’s mission.
Judith Irvine, Principal, has been appointed to the Women in Defence Association (WiDA) National Board. WiDA’s mission is to elevate the participation, leadership and visibility of women across the Defence sector, and its rapidly growing national membership highlights both the need and momentum behind this work.
Judith brings more than 28 years of experience in the Defence industry across Australia and the United Kingdom, specialising in integrated project controls, planning and scheduling and risk management. Prior to joining TBH in 2020, she held key leadership roles with BAE Systems supporting major naval programs including the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier, the Hobart Class (AWD) build program and ANZAC Class sustainment.
Judith’s depth of expertise in project controls, performance measurement and defence program delivery positions her strongly to contribute to WiDA’s governance. Alongside fellow Board Directors, she will help guide WiDA’s strategic expansion and continued growth as a purpose-driven national organisation.
This milestone comes as TBH continues to strengthen its Defence offering, drawing on six decades of project controls expertise and services such as Return to Green and Integrated Risk Management to support capability across the Defence landscape.
We congratulate Amy and Judith on their appointments and look forward to the impact they will continue to make across the Defence community.
