The Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup was a landmark global sporting event, showcasing eight state-of-the-art stadiums and extensive supporting infrastructure. The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy oversaw the design, construction, and delivery of these world-class venues, including Al Janoub, Al Thumama, and Lusail Stadiums. These facilities were developed to meet FIFA standards while delivering long-term legacy benefits for Qatar’s communities.
TBH’s Role
- Embedded within the Supreme Committee, the individual contributed to:
- Delivering integrated project controls across planning, scheduling, cost, and reporting for Al Janoub, Al Thumama, and Lusail stadiums.
- Leading risk and opportunity management processes, including QSRA and QCSRA to support informed contingency and delivery decisions.
- Providing commercial and contracts advice, including procurement strategy support, claims review, and contract administration.
- Driving value engineering initiatives to optimise designs, reduce cost, and enhance long-term asset performance.
Value Created
