TBH Announces Board and Key Executive Appointments

As TBH nears its 60th year of business, we’re delighted to announce key appointments to both our Board and Executive teams.

TBH is thrilled to share the appointment of Alexandra O’Mara to the TBH Australia Board, as a Non-Executive Director. With a Master’s degree in Administrative Law and Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Law, Alexandra began her career as a planning and environmental lawyer at Mallesons, before holding Senior Executive roles within the Department of Planning and Environment.

In 2022, Alexandra established her own consultancy, Sustainable Solutions Advisory. As Director and Founder, Alexandra provides advice on strategy, policy, transformation, stakeholder engagement and leadership with a focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and sustainability, working with Governments, developers, universities and renewable energy companies; in addition to being an executive leadership coach and mentor.

Joining TBH’s Executive Team, is new Chief People Officer (CPO) Janene Kellaway and new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Karl Riedel.

Janene is a people and culture executive with over 20 years’ experience in HR management and strategic leadership positions, having most recently worked for Coates – with over 2,200 employees across 150 branches – looking after their People Operations. Prior to that, Janene led the HR/People and Culture functions for AJ Grant, SCA Property Group and IRT where she designed, delivered and implemented the people strategies, led HR teams and developed and implemented contemporary company policies and procedures.

Karl is an experienced senior finance executive who has spent the past 23 years with multinational engineering services firm Jacobs and Sinclair Knight Merz (acquired by Jacobs in 2013). His last role was as the Vice President & Financial Controller for Jacobs’ Asia Pacific India and Middle East – People & Places Solutions business – which consists of around 8000+ people and generates $1.7B revenue out of Jacobs’ total $15B in revenue globally. He was responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis, commercial support, working capital management, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and regional statutory reporting.

Alexandra, Janene and Karl will play a pivotal role in helping TBH achieve our ambitious 2030 Strategy targets; and future-proofing the business for the next 60 years.
